ANDY GORAM

Following the sad news yesterday, the players, management and committee would like to send our love and thoughts to Andy Goram's family and loved ones at this difficult time.

We as a club are extremely privileged to have had this great man work with us. 'The Goalie' played a huge part in our success last season and was the ultimate professional at training and on match days. He was an absolute pleasure to be around and always had time for everyone. As a man, he was well respected by the players and management team and would always be there to offer his thoughts and advice.

Goram was a popular figure before joining the club, not only for his playing career but as a coach also. During his time at Cambuslang Rangers, he was able to pass on his positional and tactical knowledge to the 'keepers he worked with and helped push our main number one on as a club record of 8 consecutive clean sheets was broken.

Today we continue to mourn the loss but thank 'Goalie' for everything. He epitomises the word legend.
